El Casco Viejo!

Zazpi Kaleak (Casco Viejo in Basque) is the oldest part of Bilbao and one of the first things to see in this city.

My flat is in this area and I couldn't have asked for a better place to live!

I'm in the Plaza Nueva, which is a bit like the main square in Casco. The area is super friendly and lively. There are some great local shops.

My roommates and I have taken to having brunch together overlooking the Plaza Nueva every Sunday.

Casco Viejo means pinxos! If you go there, you must stop in the square for a drink and a bite to eat.
